How to add an employee, assign a role, and properly deactivate a terminated employee.

Assigning Roles

In "Settings → Team & Roles", add an employee and assign a role—it determines visible sections and allowed actions.

  1. Open "Settings → Team & Roles".
  2. Add an employee (email) and select a role.
  3. Save—the employee gets access according to the role.
Deactivate terminated employees instead of deleting them—their action history in documents is preserved.
